A safety component designed to notify the driver when brake pads are nearing their minimum thickness, preventing damage to rotors and reducing the risk of brake failure.

  • How it works: It uses an electrical circuit embedded in the pad. When the pad wears down, the sensor contacts the rotor, breaking or closing the circuit, which triggers a dashboard light.
